What Do Others Say About OktaviaChair?

“If the children have the choice, they choose an OktaviaChair. I don’t think they consciously think about it, but it’s easy to move around, and they quickly find the playing position that allows them to feel freer, learn more effectively, and maintain concentration during the time they are here,” says Oluf Hildebrandt-Nielsen.
Music educator and violinist Mary McGovern, who was involved in developing the chair, is very pleased that it can be used by all instrument groups.
“The chair is equally suitable for string players, woodwind and brass musicians, as well as harpists,” she says. “That makes it practical for music schools and for parents who may purchase a chair for practice at home. In addition to growing with the child, it doesn’t need to be replaced if the child decides to switch instruments along the way. It’s also excellent for doing homework.”
